QGIS training on 18th November 2016

QGIS is a user friendly Open Source Geographic Information System (GIS) licensed under the GNU General Public License. It runs on Linux, Unix, Mac OSX, Windows and Android. It supports numerous vector, raster, and database formats and its functionalities can  be compared with highcost GIS software such as ArcGIS or MapInfo.
This informal training will help to :
- discover QGIS interface ;
- understand the notion of projection ;
- use Qgis extensions to enhanced the software, especially extensions that deals with hydrological modeling ;
- prepare datasets for Seneque software ;
- proceed to geographical analysis ;
- produce maps,
- etc.
QGIS >2.14. has to be installed on the participants' computer.
